HANG ON! LET ME OVERTHINK

 Whenever I've gone through periods of overthinking in my life I've tried to find ways to stop it. Googling things like how do I stop overthinking and finding advice like let go off the past and learn to control your emotions but it never worked for me because i had difficult time buying into the whole stop doing this or that kind of mind set. I guess I just don't really believe that you can just shut down your thoughts but rather you should learn how to deal with them. SELF LOVE OVER SELF COMPARISON

Its interesting to think that all those things that you want in life, or at least think that you want, someone else was born into having it all, And you don't have any say in it and neither did they. We don't get to choose what kind of life we are born into and we most definitely don't get to choose our looks and health by birth. We know this, yet we often go through life having difficulty accepting it. The problem with comparison is that you always either feel better than someone else or worthless compared to others.   I am fat and always have been, and I'd get teased for it growing up. They would tell me that slim people are more appealing. It made me dislike my own body. I think its a classic example of a situation when the reason you start comparing yourself in first place is because someone else starts comparing you first.
